PicoFocus Pigment Reduction Beverly Hills

PicoFocus Pigment Reduction is a non-invasive laser treatment that improves most kinds of hyperpigmentation of the skin. Treatable pigment abnormalities include acne scarring, age spots, and surgical scars. Other modern therapies for hyperpigmentation can cause excessive skin irritation and require a prolonged healing process. PicoFocus Laser technology uses precise wavelengths of pulsed light energy to target problem areas and stimulate a healing response without damaging the surrounding tissue.

Dr. Nazarian and her staff have successful experience treating hyperpigmentation and other skin conditions demanding laser treatment. The procedure takes no more than 20 minutes, results are visible after the first session, and it does not require any downtime or sun avoidance post-procedure which makes it perfect all year round. This treatment is truly safe for all skin types.

What is PicoFocus Pigment Reduction?

PicoFocus Pigment Reduction is the preferred laser corrective treatment for skin hyperpigmentation. It works differently from traditional laser treatments because of its enhanced technology. While older laser treatments use heat to treat hyperpigmentation, PicoFocus uses deep pulses of light to penetrate the skin and encourage collagen and elastin production. This non-invasive procedure allows the body to heal problem areas without pain and burning.

PicoFocus Pigment Reduction Benefits

PicoFocus Pigment Reduction’s benefits make this the preferred laser treatment method for hyperpigmentation therapies. Dr. Nazarian tests all new treatments and products on herself and her staff to ensure the utmost safety and effectiveness before releasing the treatment to the public. Unlike other laser pigmentation reduction treatments, PicoFocus utilizes an acoustic laser instead of a heat laser. It is a more gentle solution to eliminating pigmentation, providing results without burning, or damaging the skin. Benefits of PicoFocus include:

  • Safe treatment: When applied to the skin, the light energy shatters the pigment, called the chromophore, reducing pigment abnormalities with no heat dissipation.
  • A tremendous preventative approach: The laser stimulates collagen production and has excellent anti-aging properties.
  • Treats brown spots: The laser will help reduce the incidence of hyperpigmentation in different areas of your body.
  • Skin irregularities reduction: PicoFocus laser also reduces the appearance of wrinkles, sunspots, freckles, and other scars.
  • Quick procedure: One session only lasts about ten to twenty minutes.
  • Minimal discomfort: Treatment feels like a warm ballpoint pen is being drawn onto your skin.

PicoFocus Pigment Reduction Reviews

My skin has been a mess and embarrassing for the last few years after I had two babies back to back and a medical condition that caused cystic acne. I started getting treatments with Cory and Britta earlier this year ( consistently ) and my skin has done a total 180. I was apprehensive at first because I am a brown skin girl and a lot of times offices will take your money and make the problems even worse because they don’t understand how to treat our skin. My skin looks the best it has looked in years … no make up needed
