The Focus Facial at Spa 26 is a luxury, multi-step treatment designed to enhance radiance, improve texture, and restore youthful vitality. This experience combines DiamondGlow exfoliation and infusion, LED light therapy, and a nourishing stem cell mask to deliver immediate, visible results with minimal downtime. Perfect for patients seeking a comprehensive, results-driven facial, the Focus Facial leaves skin smooth, hydrated, and glowing.

Diamond Glow has been adopted into many of our patients’ monthly skincare routines and works exceptionally well when paired with other skin-enhancing procedures. This fact is the precise reason we developed the 25-minute Focus Facial. Our expert practitioners will evaluate the skin’s condition to determine which treatment booster will provide the most significant benefit.

What is the Focus Facial?

The Focus Facial is a powerful skin-rejuvenation therapy developed by Spa26. This 25-minute facial treatment includes a Diamond Glow session and a treatment booster, personally selected based on the patient’s individual skincare needs.

Diamond Glow, or Dermalinfusion, is a non-invasive wet microdermabrasion procedure. Patients will experience powerful exfoliation that revitalizes and renews, extraction that cleanses and clears impurities, an infusion that rejuvenates, and increased circulation, enabling improved healing and skin function. This portion of the treatment is safe on all skin types and requires no downtime.

Your provider will assist you in selecting a treatment booster to enhance the treatment’s revitalizing effects. Treatment booster options include:

  • Light Chemical Peel: A light, or superficial, chemical peel that removes the outermost layer of the skin to improve fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, acne, and dryness. This treatment stimulates the production of fresh, new skin cells, with complete results appearing within 5 to 14 days.
  • Dermaplane: Dermaplane, also known as microplaning or blading, is a cosmetic treatment that uses an exfoliating blade to skim hair and damaged skin cells from the face. It is safe for any skin type and helps to reduce acne scars, dry skin, sun damage, and fine wrinkles, leaving the skin smooth and radiant.
  • Jelly Mask: A Jelly Mask is a cosmetic facial treatment infused with electrolytes derived from algae. This mask infuses the skin with essential nutrient-rich electrolytes, including Potassium, Magnesium, Sodium Chloride, Phosphorus, Sodium Pyrophosphate, and Bicarbonate. Once the mask solidifies, it creates a vacuum seal that compels the beneficial ingredients into the pores, leaving the skin hydrated, healthy, and supple.
  • LED Redlight Treatment: Red light therapy is a cosmetic treatment that utilizes low wavelength red light to reduce wrinkles, scarring, redness, and acne. This treatment improves skin appearance by stimulating collagen production and blood circulation within skin tissue, reduces inflammation and promotes healing.

A nourishing stem cell mask then follows the Focus Facial to deliver immediate, visible results with minimal downtime. Perfect for patients seeking a comprehensive, results-driven facial, the Focus Facial leaves skin smooth, hydrated, and glowing.

How the Procedure Works

The Focus Facial treatment is entirely non-invasive, requires little to no downtime, and takes approximately 25 minutes. It begins with DiamondGlow, which exfoliates dead skin cells, removes impurities, and simultaneously infuses the skin with hydrating and restorative serums. Next, LED light therapy penetrates the skin to stimulate collagen production, reduce inflammation, and enhance cellular repair. The treatment concludes with a stem cell mask that provides deep hydration and revitalization, restoring a smooth, luminous complexion.

Before & Preparation

  • Your provider will help you determine which treatment booster will provide the most significant benefit during your preliminary consultation.
  • The chosen treatment booster may require additional preparation and recovery guidelines. Your provider will inform you of further guidelines before treatment.
  • Discontinue the use of facial scrubs, AHAs/BHAs, and retinoids the 5-7 days before and after your treatment.
  • Discontinue topical acne medications such as salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or benzoyl peroxide for 5-7 days.
  • Use proper sun protection for several days before and after treatment.

During the Procedure

  • The facial begins by prepping the skin for treatment.
  • Your provider will glide the Diamond Glow applicator over the neck and face. It will take approximately 25 minutes to complete.
  • Patients may experience minor scratchy and vacuum-like sensations during this stage, but no pain is associated with treatment.
  • The Diamond Glow device combines three critical facial stages into one treatment for maximum results:
  • Exfoliation to remove old, damaged skin
  • Extraction to remove dirt and excess oil from pores
  • Infusion of a customized serum that effortlessly penetrates the skin
  • Your chosen treatment booster will take place either before or after Diamond Glow.
  • The treatment concludes with a stem cell mask, providing deep hydration and revitalization to restore a smooth, luminous complexion.

Aftercare & Recovery

  • Patients will notice an immediate improvement in skin appearance.
  • Patients may experience mild redness after treatment. This effect will subside rather quickly.
  • Results will continue to improve over the following 6-12 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Focus Facial is a 25-minute customizable facial treatment developed by Spa26. Treatment comprises a Diamond Glow session with a treatment booster, followed by a nourishing stem cell mask, to deliver immediate, visible results with minimal downtime.

Diamond Glow is an advanced 3-in-1 facial resurfacing treatment. It simultaneously exfoliates dead skin cells, extracts dirt and excess oil, and infuses a custom skin-enhancing serum into the skin. Most patients instantly notice visible improvements, and results continue to develop over 4-6 weeks.

Yes. When combining Dermaplane with a Diamond Glow treatment, Dermaplane will typically begin the treatment process.

Diamond Glow is a skin resurfacing device that simultaneously exfoliates, extracts, and infuses the skin with rejuvenating serums. Diamond Glow is not a chemical peel; however, combining Diamond Glow with a chemical peel can enhance treatment results.

Hydrojelly or “Jelly” Masks are infused with electrolytes derived from algae, which help achieve a natural facial moisture balance while enriching the skin with nourishing elements. A Hydrojelly mask will leave the skin hydrated, healthy, and radiant.

The LED Redlight treatment uses low wavelength red light to reduce signs of aging, scarring, acne, redness and inflammation and promotes healing. The treatment stimulates collagen production. Redlight therapy is often combined with skin resurfacing treatments to expedite the healing process and enhance results.

Red light therapy treats skin conditions like wrinkles, acne, rosacea, and scars. It can also help reduce pain and inflammation after injuries or surgery. Furthermore, it can release nitric oxide which can lower blood pressure. It can also help stimulate hair growth.

Blue light kills the bacteria that causes acne. It can also help improve skin texture. However, it can flare melasma and is not recommended for melasma patients.

The benefits of light therapy in practice is twofold. In the office, Dr. Nazarian can help reduce redness after facial treatments and procedures. The curated and effective LED products we offer on TheSkinSpot.com empower our patients to continue doing the right things at home to get them to goal. Whether they are using LED light on their face, head, body, or vaginally, we love to partner with our patients with both in-office and at-home treatments to get them to goal faster.

The only caveat I tell my melasma patients is to stay away from blue light which can flare their melasma.

Not all LED products are equal. I, personally, need to see scientific data and studies before recommending an LED product. That is why I created The Skin Spot online. Products should work, and too often, people just look at packaging or marketing.

Dr. Nazarian: I have my teenagers using LED light for their acne!

Everyone is a good candidate for some form of LED light therapy. But it does require commitment. If someone cannot adhere to a wellness regimen, this might not be for them.

There are so many excellent skincare and non-invasive options today. Check with your physician for which combination of therapies and products would work best for you.
